Mkomazi National Park Tanzania

This is a purely conservational park with no tourist facilities whatsoever. The Tanzanian government introduced it in an attempt to revive the populations of the black rhino, with animals being brought in from South Africa.
It has an area of 1262 sq km and located in North-Eastern Tanzania, on Kenyan Border, sharing a border with Tsavo National Park of Kenya.

The Best time to visit the park is in the wet season where large, migratory herds of elephants, oryx and zebra wander through the park. It has 78 kinds of mammals and over 400 species of birds. Hiking is possible with an armed guard.
