We offer several options for climbing tours to Kilimanjaro. These tours generally last a week and include some of the most popular and some of the most exciting treks and climbs through the mountains. Prices are based per person for each tour. Our rates are extremely competitive for these tours.

MARANGU ROUTE
This is the easiest route to climb Kilimanjaro, This route is also referred to as the Coca-Cola Route. Pm Marangu route you will climb gently through forests, moorlands and then across The Saddle, a high-altitude desert separating the main summit, Kibo, 5895m, from craggy Mawenzi, 5149m, to Kibo Hut.
From Kibo Hut an early start is made for the ascent to Uhuru Point (the top of Kibo). The path zigzags up steep scree which is easier to climb when frozen.You will be rewarded with spectacular views from the crater rim at Gillman's Point. Uhuru Peak lies just above.
This may be a tough walking trip but within the reach of a fit individual used to walking in mountain areas. An extra day for acclimatization to the altitude is also recommended at Horombo from where one can have various scenic walks also.
Itinerary
Day
1 Meet on arrival at Moshi or Arusha transfer to hotel overnight at
hotel.
Day 2 Morning breakfast at hotel Drive to Marangu Gate. Walk through the rain forest to Mandara hut (4h,
2720m). Overnight at camp
Day 3 Leave the forest and cross open moor land to Horombo hut (5h, 3720m).
Day 4 Rest and acclimatisation day at Horombo Hut. Day walk to Zebra Rocks or to
Mawenzi Hut.
Day 5 Walk through moorland then across The Saddle to Kibo hut (5h, 4730m).
Day 6 Very early start for the summit on steep scree up to Gillman's Point (5h,
5681m), continue to Uhuru Peak (1h30min., 5895m). Descend to Kibo Hut for lunch
and a rest before descending to Horombo hut (about 13 h total walking times).
Day 7 Descend to Marangu gate (5h). Drive back to the hotel (B&B).

MACHAME ROUTE
Machame or sometimes called the Whisky Route is a popular route to climb Kilmanjaro. The climbers trek up steep paths through magnificent forests to gain a ridge leading through the moorland zones to the Shira Plateau. It then traverses beneath the glaciated precipices of the Southern Ice fields to join the Barafu Route to the summit.
An extra day could be added to the itinerary at Karanga Camp before you are sent to Barafu Camp. This extra day is used for acclimatization for those who are not used to alpine altitudes. The Mweka Route is used for the descent. Accommodation on the mountain is in tents which our team will pitch for you.
This is a steep, tough trek within the limits of a fit individual used to walking in mountain areas.
Itinerary
Day
1 Arrive in Moshi or Arusha (B&B).
Day 2 Drive to the Machame Park Gate at 1800m, from where steepening trails lead
through natural rain forest to a campsite in a clearing on a ridge, (3000m,
5h.).
Day 3 The path continues up a moorland ridge through giant heathers. It
gradually becomes rocky before levelling out on the Shira Plateau. (3840m,
4-5h.).
Day 4 A rocky path leads east up towards the Lava Tower (4600m), dramatic views
of the Breach Wall precipices. Shortly beyond this it descends to Barranco
campsite (3950m, 4-5h.).
Day 5 Scramble easily to the top of the Great Barranco and then a traverse over
screes and ridges to the Karanga Valley campsite (3h, 3937m.), beneath the
icefalls of the Southern Glaciers.
Day 6 The trail ascends a ridge to a campsite by the Barafu Hut, an airy
location with little vegetation (3h, 4600m.),
Day 7 Start just after midnight for the ascent of the screes leading to Stella
Point (6h, 5732m.). From here a further 40mins. leads to Uhuru Peak. Descend to
the Barafu Hut for a rest and brunch before continuing down to camp at Mweka Hut
at 3100m, (11-14h total walking time).
Day 8 A 3-4 hour descent through beautiful forest brings you to the Park Gate.
Drive back to Moshi, Arusha (B&B).
This ends the trekking.

Following is an other option which is available for larger groups.
Day
1: Moshi, Tanzania
Meet upon arrival at Arusha and transfer to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha your
choice.
Day 2: Mandara Hut - 2745 metres
After breakfast at the hotel an early start to Kilimanjaro National Park, you
will trek through rain forest for your first night, of your 7 day Mount
Kilimanjaro Tour. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is included.
Day 3: Horombo Hut - 3660 metres
Today you will leave the rain forest and travel on your Mount Kilimanjaro
climbing tour through open moorlands of stunning beauty to acclimatize a little
more for your ascent on Kilimanjaro Africa's highest peak. Breakfast, Lunch and
Dinner is included.
Day 4: Kibo Hut - 4701 metres
After breakfast Trek over the saddle, between Mawenzi peak and Kibo peak, to
arrive at the final stage before you main ascent on the summit, next day.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is included.
Day 5: Gilman's Point - 5700 metres
Today A very early morning ascent takes you on the summit of mount Kilimanjaro
via Gilman's Point, on the rim of the crater, to Uhuru Peak. You will have views
of Tanzania and Kenya from this point specially the early morning light will
offer some spectacular photo opportunitie. Later after a good time to feel the
mount Kilimanjaro climb leave Uhuru Peak descent to Horombo Hut for a
celebration. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is included.
Day 6: Moshi
The last day, of your Mount Kilimanjaro Tour, on the mountain takes you via the
Marangu Gate, back to your hotel. Breakfast is included.
Day 7:
Morning drive to Arusha, Dar Asalam or Nairobi for your onward journey.
